Blake... I've stayed here for the past 6 years. 2 miles from the fairgrounds, across the street from OSU football stadium in the heart of OSU (alot of bars etc). They have dedicated hot rod parking that is patroled at night by security. The main host hotel and action is about a 10 min drive up the interstate in Dublin.
Room rates are discounted so mention GG show.

Blake,

We stay at the Holiday Inn Express North on East-Dublin Granville Road. It's not fancy, but in the middile of everything. Not too far from the grounds and not far from the host hotel. I suggest getting reservations quickly as they book a year in advance. It gets tough. If you stay there, let me know it would be great to BS. You guys do great work.

Later,

go to the good guys website. click on events, go to the columbus event. they have a page that lists the hotels in the area and how much they charge per night. better hurry though, i made my reservation in dec and had a hard time finding a room.

i am at the clarion hotel only about 5 min. from the show.

Michael6372, I would call the Clarion several times between now and the event. I know of about 10 people that had a horrible experience at the clarion last year. They got there on Friday to check in and were told the hotel was full. Thay had over booked by alot. They got no satisfaction. Some had to travel 45 minutes away to get rooms, others stayed with friends. Just a word of warning. Just to be sure, this was the Clarion off of Dublin Granville road on the way to the Host Hotel. Good luck.

We stay at the Holiday Inn in Worthington. It was completely remodeled last year during the show, lots of parking, has a great bar and Beppo's Italian joint is right across the street. #614-436-0700. I just made reservations yesterday..... It is by itself, so you can go out and cruise, but it's nice and quiet around the hotel when you do finally want to get some sleep.
