LS series in a 1st gen Camaro with a procharger

Does anyone here have a Procharged ls series engine in a first gen camaro?

What are you using for procharger brackets?
Are you mounting it on the left side, right side, up high, down low?

Also can you buy the Procharger and brackets and intercooler without all the model kit specific stuff?

96z28ss and I have been talking, and the best solution seems to be using a GTO Set up and pulleys. We got some pricing today, so we will see if this is the way to go.

We did the Prodigy Vette and uses factory Corvette stuff, but it will not fit in a Camaro.

Just so anyone that was interested the Procharger with the GTO brackets will NOT fit in the 1st gen Camaro.
Now I'm not sure what to do.

I have been doing ots of work to fix that problem. Where would you like to mount it? Do you have room to mount it in the passenger side in front like a C6 vette? I got one on Johns 66 and one on Brians 63. We can do what ever you need?

What bracket system do you currently have? What would you like to have?
Do you plan to run AC? How much room do you have from your passenger side cylinder head to your radiator?

Is the aftermarket front sub frame in the way? Do you think it would fit in a stock sub frame?

I didn't take a picture but yes the aftermarket frame (Wayne Due) has the motor sitting pretty low and the unit with the GTO brackets hits the frame right where the a-arms are mounted. Not only that but there is no turning radius with the wheels either cause the tire hits the blower also.

The only option I see is the f-body brackets which put the blower down low on the driverside but I'd have to change my sway bar setup.
Or the Corvette set up and I'd have to ditch my dual fan setup for a single fan and put the fan off to one side.

I think the corvette setup is the only option to go with right now.

It might clear the stock subrame and a-arms but it will eat up some of your turning radius. The inner fender would have to be modified alot to clear the blower.

Why dont you take alook at the brackets on the Johns nova or brians. I saw the build up pics of your camaro and I bet a corvette system will clear. How much boost are you planning to run? Do you need to run the 8 rib system or a cog?
