Default How many times have you changed directions with your project?

I always wanted to know how many of us have changed directions with our cars. I'll start.

Started off as daily driver, then got a commuter for school - that was 1995, then put a LT1 in it and drove it all the time when not going to school. Then I discovered drag racing, added a bottle, changed heads, cam, etc, bigger bottle then it broke several parts, tranny's rearends, and finally the motor.

In 2000 I decided to go with a 468 a friend sold me for $150, what he owed the machine shop for labor, then they built the motor for me with a bottle in mind, had full manual valve body, 4500 Coan stall, and a brake, it was awesome @ the track but horrilbe to drive almost anywhere. Then I discovered PT, and then it really changed directions. I went from drag racing everything to more of the PT stuff over the next couple of years. Sold the Welds, TH400, suspension and bought 18" Budniks, TKO-600, coilovers, rebuilt the front suspension etc. Now its 2008 and my project is now Procharged with the F1R, thanks Frank, I think its tuned pretty close thanks Jody, and runs pretty good, and I'm happy. But then I got the bug again on here and PT to look at the Gbar or Quadralink setup, thanks to pretty much everyone here for getting me going on this, and also EFI, partially thanks to Jody and the many conversations I have had with him about it...... Oh yeah I'm also starting to think about changing to the LS motor and using my Procharger on that.... It never ends.... 1st pic is how I bought it, and how it sits now.

What's your story?

I am on my second suspension setup an I am contemplating selling the current setup and going with AirRide setup. I have also had three sets of seats and will be selling the current set of Corbeaus soon. Three sets of valve covers and 2 power steering gear boxes...

I have more direction changes, sitting around in boxes in my garage, than a compass in a box of magnets.
