Other than the Quadraduece, Has anyone seen a 1930s style vehicle modified in a Pro-Touring style?

I've always wanted to build a road-race 39 Chevy Coupe... I just have to get through the other 5 project cars I have right now

Ever heard of the "Prowler"? The "Red Line Oil" car that competed for the riddler a couple years ago is suppose to have a Indy style suspension under it. Some of Steve Moal's creations might qualify if they ever got driven. I have been contemplating one myself.

I know a guy who is about 60% through with a 1939 Ford Coupe that is looking to let it go. Custom frame, Ls1, Ford 9" rear. Looks like an good candidate for Pro touring. He wants a bit too much I think.

But It gave me some good ideas.
