Default BBC turbo placement?

Planing on turbocharging my 69 camaro it has a big block. Where would be the proper place to mount a big single turbo untit about the size of a garrett gt47-88 in the engine compartment?

i would mount it high, on the passenger side facing -inlet forward.. sitting on a log manifold along side the wastegate.. that way the outlet from the turbo would have the least amounts of funny turns, and come down infront of the heater assembly... id mount the filter either on the turbo or where the battery is now, with some sort of coldair/ramair

Pretty much anywhere you like id keep it away from the water pump and radiator. Unless you get it ceramic coated which is still a good idea cuts down the heat in the engine bay.
