Should I spend the extra $75 to have them clear anodized or is it a waste of money? I live in central NC and would hate for these things to get white and powdery and pit the aluminum finish. The other reason I ask is I once had a set of billet aluminum pulleys that weren't anodized or cleared and they did just that and looked horrific in a few years. I want to order these asap so I would appreciate any tips. I haven't seen any black anodized on camaros so I am not sure how they would look so....
Well, I went ahead and bit the bullet and ordered the clear anodized finish which should be more of a brushed finish than polished which should go good with the Twistmachine fender struts and stuff. Thanks for the advise guys, even though I am still on the fince about natural or black cause they both look good!!! I am sure I will be happy with what I have though
I would go black, When I first bought mine they didnt offer it yet. so I brushed them and found out that the up keep was pretty bad. So I just ended up painting mine. But If I have you can do it now. I would get them anodized!
I got the anodized clear ones which should be more of a brushed silver finish. I really like the black ones but only the frame and fenderwells are black!! the firewall and radiator support and ebgine are all blue, the color of the car.
