Got the Camaro to the dragstip this weekend

Well I got to take the Camaro to the track today for its second time. Prior best time was a 12.40 at 112.3. 60 foot time was a 1.94. Well this time I did a much bigger burnout and low and behold the car hooked! Man.....I new it was a much better run than the first time out. The I got the slip.....damn...so close......12.04....112.3.....1.68 60 foot! Then the next three passes I could again get no better than a 1.9's. The track was not well prepped and I think the BFG drags are just not consistant. Either way I was pretty stoked but man I wanted that 11.99! OH well......

As the day grew hotter and it heated up a bit my MPH dropped just a bit to a high 110's. Think this is a jetting issue or weather??? Either way it was cool to drive an hour to the track and run a 12.0 and get 15+mph doing it!

Congrats man, sounds like a great time. You will get there, it's all in the 60ft.

Thanks Streetking...its was a blast when it hooked that 1.68! Im gonna swap out the BFG dr's for the MT DR's.
