Default Roll Bar questions

Im in the middle of a 69 camaro build. Hoping for a low 10 sec runner. NHRA states that if ur firewall and floor are stock you only need an 8pt roll bar. Im replacing my floor pan b/c of rust and smoothing the firewall. Does this violate their "stock" definition? Assuming it doesn't does anybody make an 8pt bar with contoured bars that go from the main hoop to thru the rear deck and into the trunk? Instead of going straight from the hoop to the trunk.. can it follow the roof line and then drop down when reaching the rear window?

also if I make the bar in the middle of the main hoop and the bars coming down from the main hoop to my feet detachable does that violate NHRA?

They are talking about fabricated floors and firewalls. If you restore the car with a new factory or re-pop floor, it's still considered stock.

The hoop crossbar cannot be removeable.

I'm not sure how the rules read about the rear downbars to the trunk and what is/isn't allowed.

smoothing the firewall is still considered stock?

ok, i can live with having the crossbar welded in.. but is it ok to make the bars going from the main hoop across my shoulder removable?

Are you cutting out your firewall, or just smoothing it?

Yes, the door bars car be removeable, but there's are limitations on where it's located and how much bend it can have.
