I agree but they were way out of line. I called and they made an error in how they had it listed. The new premium is $129 every six mo.

thanks

I don't believe USAA has true agreed value coverage, which could be a huge issue with the value of these cars if there was a total loss.

Correct. They will only pay book value. So what I did was get liability through them. Since I have my other 4 cars with them.

They transferred me to another company that they partner with, for agreed value coverage. I cannot recall the name though as I have not done anything yet.

Their rates seemes reasonable but I want to look into them a little further. Cause I think USAA when it comes to a claim is hands off.

I have USAA for EVERYTHING and I am a huge fan. Banking, credit cards, mortgage, insurance, investments...but not insurance for my Chevelle. Their partner company did not even come close to meeting my needs. It's Heacock for me.

I used Hagerty. Very reasonable. $35,000 for $632 a year. That was with a spotless driving record. Also, I got my money back (pro-rated) when I sold the car. I never had to file a claim, so I can't comment on that end of it. But I will say the policy was fairly easy to obtain. Just filled out a questionaire about the car and sent several pictures. They also require that you show proof of another vehicles for your primary transportation, and that you keep the insured car in a locked garage. There are a few other things like, no functional nitrous systems, no roll cage, etc.

If you don't have, "Agreed Value" coverage, and, you have a loss, be prepared to bend over.
