Default manual or auto?

Depends on power output obviously.

Auto--A518 or 727+gearvendors, SMR transmission
4l60E, Keisler
4l80E, SD concepts, or Wilcap for an adapter

Manual--5spd--Keisler, Wilcap for apapter, Quicktime bellhousing and others
6spd--Quicktime for bellhousing or Wilcap adapter
4spd overdrive--Passon Performance (aluminum/lightweight)

Im in the same boat, looking for OD options for a Dodge Demon. These are some of the ones I have found and looked into. This is totally dependent on budget/modifications to trans tunnel/power of engine etc...

thanks for the info. Im like you. budget for 1. keisler would be ideal but $3400 I do have everything for a four speed but more work. witch is no big deal. I have a 383 that is been warmed over. I'm guessing H.P around 400

A 6speed conversion kit is supposedly coming out soon from Weir Hot Rod parts for us mopar guys. I talked to him last week and "it's in the works" for the winter.
