Default One piece front fenders ??? Good or bad idea ?

What do you think of welding front fender "extensions" on front fenders?

Does it look good or bad? I am not the fan of extra body seams my self.

I did something more extreme to a 64 Impala we built.
I welded ALL the seems and panels.
In the end its like a vette. No seems except for actual door openings.
We welded the fenders to the rockers. The fenders and fender extentions. The front valance to the fenders. The fenders to the cowl. The rockers to the rear quarters. The quarters to the rear valance etc etc.
Bad pic, but try to look close.

I did it on my car and didn’t like how it looked so I got another fender and just reworked the fender extension so it fit perfect and got rid of the gap from the bumper bracket since I am not running a front bumper. Something about it just didn’t look right to me.

Thanks guys for the good opinions!

I will go with the one piece idea. I think it helps tucking the front bumper too. My front fenders are reprojunk so there is lot of work ahead anyway.

Other bodyseams i will leave. I see it gives hole car more modern look.
