Default Gto Ls2

What kind of auto trans came with the LS2? and is the LS2 the same block as a LS1? Looking at oe for a 69 Camaro.

are you going to go Fuel Injected or Carbuerated on this? I was just wandering on how many people use these engines stripped of all the FI parts?..

4L65E. Blocks are different internally but externally the same as far as bolting into your car, trans mounting, etc.
