I know there is obviously a ton of variability between cars and all,

That is the sticking point right there. There are literally hundreds, if not thousands of variables, all the way from Tire size to Driver ability to corrected altitude....It would be exceedingly difficult to put anything out there with any kind of accuracy. A back-to-back test on one car with all the variables the same would be a way to get some measure of
how much improvement any given package could give you, but that would even be flawed to varying degrees depending on how modified the rest of the car is. Our front clip on a car with crappy tires may not make as much of a difference in skidpad numbers percentage-wise as our clip on a car with big tires. As has been said before, there are a lot of very nice parts out there that will make a huge difference in how your car works, and most of us will never get to the full potential of our cars ability. If it feels better and drives better be happy with it!
I remember when I bought my street bike, a friend was trying to steer me to another because it had 6 more hp....like I could EVER tell that 6 hp was there...same idea.
