Default Dead car finally back from interior shop

The story of this car till the end has been the same. "Oh, I can have that for you in 2 weeks." Well it only ran 5 weeks over that original time frame.

I picked it up yesterday. I wanted an interior that was not too street rod-ish, but not stock either. I told the interior guy what I wanted, not even a sketch was drawn, and told him to do his thing. He hit the look I was going for as I am very pleased. I was very nervous going to pick it up, because I had no idea what it was going to look like. Good thing I liked it.

Scott will post up a few pics. I don't know how to re-size

I'm excited to see the outcome. Your camaro is one of my favorites.

Default I think I figured it out

One of your favorites? That means a lot to me from the spectacular stuff coming from your shop.

I'd say nailing it is an understatement. Your interior looks awsome!

I'd like mine in white with houndstooth please!

Are those Arzien seats? How do you like? Why not the stock console?

Very nice

Default I am going to claim this idea because I have so few

originals and I normally like to steal them.

The stolen part:

I mounted a 5 1/4 speaker in the cowl area. Made a cover plate and mounted the speaker. Stole Steilow's idea about using a salad bowl as an enclosure behind it, except mine was plastic and I used silicon to seal it.

Mine:

I got non-air 69 kick panels and cut the area that protruded into the cowl off flush with the panel. That way the speaker plays through the stock 69 vent grill. Where the vent controls are molded in on the panel towards the door, I cut the center part out and mounted my tweeters there and the cross overs in the area behind it in the body.

I am running vintage air, so I have no need for the cowl vents. Just an idea for hidded speakers if you have to have tunes...and I have to have tunes

The only speakers seen in my car are the tweeters. I have 5 1/4 seperates, two 4 inchers in the center dash, 6x9 in the rear deck mounted from underneath with a preforated cover and one 10 inch sub firing through the back seat.
