Default What do you guys think?

I'm looking for my next project and this one popped up only a few miles from me. New GM fenders, new Goodmark hood and quarters( but if the body guy really put the qtrs on the way the owner says he did they're coming off anyway) the rest of the car, floor, trunk, etc. seems real solid. Stainless and glass is real good ,new windshield. I just wish (like everybody else) that it was a RS. The owner painted it himself (his first time and he calls it a 20 footer LOL) . Runs and drives but of course thats all coming out.
Here we go again

Looks pretty nice, can't wait to see what your planning on doing to it after how nice your '69 came out.

I say go for it, I've always liked that early 70's body style. Do it while they are still affordable.

I get it. You wanna watch and learn from my mistakes so you can build your camaro the right way!! Got any big plans for it yet or is it too soon? When we were painting my 69 my youngest son wanted Orange, I told him then that the next car would be an orange 2nd gen. Then Dale Jr's came along and WOW. I have been thinking about a trans-am era replica/clone but with modern day power and suspension.

LOL -

Yep I love to see what other people are doing. I love the DSE car and would have loved to do an orange car but like you said it's been done. There is one other color that I may consider that I assure no one else has done or may have even notice.

Plans for the car are going to be very simple. I want to make this a nice driver that the Kids & I can cruise in. It won't be a big HP car ( maybe 450 ) not sure about the tranny or if i plan to run Air Ride. Still looking at all the options.

ps - I just joined NastyZ28.com to look around. I've seen some great looking cars and lots of ideas. But I will do my best to make it a little different.

pss - Kenny, Travis & I already have some idea's on the table.
