Default Which type of TB is most streetable?

I have a Victor Jr. intake, and dont know what kind or size TB I should use. I want something very streetable. Is 90mm mono blade too big? Is a 4 hole carb style best?? How about a smaller mono blade (75mm-78mm)??? Has anyone tried these differnt ones on the same engine?

Thanks - Ron

Default Throttle Body

I would look to progressive 4 hole first. Then look at the throttle arm and if you can soften the off idle travel by a long arm or a cam type cable actuator.

The 4 barrel tb's around 1000-1200 cfm are very streetable. I did go from one of those to a single 75mm monoblade on a Procharged big block, and definitely picked up throttle response. I run the monoblades on nearly everything. As far as size, even the factory uses a 90mm now, so anything up to that isn't too big. The secret is in the tune, but a super large monoblade can cause issues since very little throttle movement gives big increases in airflow. Anything up to 90mm would not fall under that in my opinion.

Depends on the intake, I had a sheetmetal with dual 90's on it and a brodix with a 4 barrel style fast tb. for your set up I would use a fast 4 brrl style
