Default ATS LSX Mounts - Nice stuff!

We just received a set of the ATS LSX A-body changeover motor mounts... very nice stuff. The box has the ATS logo in 2 color printed on it, a 4-color flyer was included inside, the mounts were pre-assembled with the plates, the bolts were pre-installed in the proper holes with some rubber bands holding them in place, the box itself was taped and stapled with inner supports to keep the parts nice.. overall, a great presentation and great looking parts. It shows ATS cares about the parts and the customer. We're excited to install them in our '65 Chevelle. Nice work, Tyler!

Thanks Kevin. We got tired of FedEx and UPS destroying our standard issue 'Uline' brown boxes and had custom packaging made this year. I think it protects the product well, and looks great when it arrives. We did the logo because I can recall getting parts as a young teen from Baer and seeing the logo on the box. I knew it was xmas time as it came off the truck.
Thanks for the opportunity to work with you guys on your A body project. if you need spindles, you know who to call!!

Good stuff for sure....

Just a PIA if you're using any sort of factory AC or steering components...

I had to modify my AC bracket for a good hour before I could even get my mount kit to bolt to the motor. Still have to shim everything up to get the oil pan to clear the centerlink...

But the parts themselves are really nice...

I'm sure we're going to get into all kinds of "massaging" in this project. We've got a Yukon motor, so I'm not sure if any of the truck accessories or pan will fit, but we'll do what we have to to make it work. It's all part of the process.

I have one out of a Escalade...

Swap the pan out of a CTS-V pan. It fits much better.

You'll have to take the AC bracket off and cut approximately a 2"x2" piece out of it down near the bottom bolt (farthest back). The pic I enclosed (can't it's too big) is with the rough grinding done. I am going to cut off the bottom bolt hole as well, as you can't even get a bolt in it once the mount is there....

Thanks for the advice. I'll start seeking the CTS-V pan.
