Default Inner Fender Panels

Not sure if this is the right section, but here goes.

In viewing the various forums the other day, I saw a picture of a silver car with some beautiful custom inner fender panels. Now I can't seem to find the picture. Could those of you that have fabricated custom inner fender panels on your car post some pics? I'm thinking I want to go that direction in order clean up the engine compartment.

Thanks in advance.

Anyone ever use a modified 1st/2nd gen camaro (or some other big GM body car) type ft fender well - sorta like what DSE did on jr's car ? Split and add piece and then modify/build a custom mount. I'll be needing something like that for my project and was thinking about this type of solution. Or maybe something like what you guys have illustrated above might work for me too.

Thanks Payton

I've got a Wayne Due C4 Subframe. I finally mounted the front fenders and inner fenders and the control arm openings on the inner panels are no where close to lining up with the C4. So, I'm trying to decide whether to modify the inner fenders or built some custom units to cover all of it up.

Default Jim Pettigrew

Did my inner fenders and I am using a 21st century subframe. Jim is also doing Jimmy Johnson's (#48) car and he modified the stock inners like you were speaking of. I can get you pictures of that if you like. It really comes down to if you want the stock engine bay look. I opted for the custom inners so I could hide wiring and hoses to clean up the bay a bit.
