Question Corvette Starter Push Button switch ???

Does anyone have the GM part number for the new starter button that a few
builders have been using this year? My GM dealer cannot seem to figure it out. I have seen it on the chevelle that the Roadster Shop just built and I have also seen it on the 1966 Biscayne that Rad Rides by Troy just completed. Please help thanks, Greg

Are you sure it's not a Honda push button? The pics I've seen of the Roadster Shop's Chevelle interior aren't very clear, but looks just like the Honda S2000 start button.

I just bought this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/New-G...mZ270148176390 should be here in a couple of days and have it installed in the next week or so. Honda has it listed online for $48ish and this ended up being about $42 after shipping.

Definitely go with the Honda unit. That's what we used on our Vette, and the Rings have used on a few of their cars. I've even got the wiring diagram Google it and you should come up with the same info though. At night, the button even is lit up. Makes for a cool little touch in a car & my wife even wants one for here Stude project.
