Default Did anyone here go to Back to The 50's in St. Paul??

I did and WOW!! that is quite a few cars!!

I only looked at about 20% of the cars and most were very very nice.

My 2 favorites were a 62ish Ford Fairlane, kind of done in the old school street/strip look and a complete custom 37 3 window. The 37 was for sale for the low,low price of $125K.
I will put some pics up as soon as my home computer quits being funny.

Keith

I went Sunday, there were a ton of cars there, I probably didnt see half of what there was to see, I seen an old school 55 chevy that caught my eye!
I heard there was a reported 15000 cars????
Talked with Moose from Rad Rides, he said the Nova is going to be pretty sweet!

I heard 12,400 cars registered. That could be from Sat. though, so it could be 15,000

I was there on Saturday working on my raccoon sun tan. Yep, I was told 12,400 cars were registered by Saturday late morning. It was packed! Great show, seen some cool cars, talked to a ton of vendors, bought a few parts, and ate some real healthy food.

Less than 4 weeks to Car Craft.

Cool

I walked around and sweated my fat azz off. That show is getting so big that you can't see it all in one day. There is so much eye candy and cool stuff that a lot of nice stuff gets overlooked.

See ya at the Car Craft Summer Nationals!

I agree, Randy. It's quite an event. I wonder if they hit the ceiling with how many cars they can have on site. I also wonder what the attendance was.

My wife quit going to car events with me years ago. She would complain about me talking to too much with too many people. I don't know where she gets that idea.

I was there all 3 days. Nice weather - warm (hot?) but no rain.

It's nice to have a Street Rod in the Fleet. Here is my '37 Chevy and my buddy's '57 Caddy.

It's a family event for us. Our wives and kids attend and hang out most of the weekend with us guys.

Back to the 50's is an awesome show....... completely different than viewing a couple thousand cars crammed in one parking lot and it is completely cool! It is definitely one of my favorites......
