I really like the look of that!

I'd try a 1" lowering block, if the springs do settle, just remove.

It's not my first day on the job No, I left the spring eye bolts and the upper shackle bolts loose and set it down, bounced it a little and even drove down the street and back before final tightening.

I thought of that last night too. In 2003 with my 69, I had the ride height looking great, but when I loaded everything up to go to Nashville for PT, I had problems with tire clearance.

Here is what I ended up doing. I raised the front 1/2 inch and took the lowering blocks out of the back. I need to keep it driveable.
