Spent most of the day in the garage working on the car. Today I wanted to start getting the firewall mocked up with the hydroboost and clutch master. So lets start with those.

Here's the hydroboost mockup.

I still need a few things to bolt the rod to the pedal. I'm gonna have to buy a 3/8" heim joint and then cut the stock loop off and tap the rod.

I then spent 4-5 hours mocking up the clutch master.

Here's what I've got going on under the dash (not done)

I then dropped in the steering column to see how it looked. Well once that was in I could tell the driver's seat was about 2-2.5" too far to the left. So I moved it over 2" and its much better now. No I have to make the bracket fit again with new mounting tabs and then get it powercoated once again. Opps!

Since Dusters don't get much attention on a Camaro/GM dominated web site..... let me say that the work your doing is top notch and well thoughtout, keep up the good work.

I'm missing a lot from this build as I keep forgetting I posted here.

Here's the latest....

Well I've been going at a turtle's pace getting the car wired. It's a huge job but I've been tackling one circuit at a time.

I started in the rear of the car and completed the taillight wiring.

Here's a picture of me cleaning up the wiring.

The wiring has all been pulled to where it needs to go.

I chose to put the battery in the trunk.

Here's what the mess under the dash looks like.

My friend came over and did all the big wiring. Ran the main power and grounds from the trunk to the front. The large ground wire stops under the dash and continues through the firewall. I'm planning to have a few engine grounds.

Finally if anyone needs new sockets for the front marker lights on a 73-76 grill. A pair of 95-99 Dodge Neon sockets clip right into the grill markers. This changes the bulbs to 1156/1157 which are brighter and better.

Well I'll keep working on this wiring until I can start the car....
