The quote I received was $2k as ballpark starting point. That is with 4-6 indexed V-bands, 304 stainless 3", pieced together from mandrel bends, Magnaflow mufflers. Pipes out the back. Again, that was starting point. The feeling I got was I should expect more when said and done given the complexity involved with going up over the diff (and under the G-link crossmember) with that sized tube.

I just did a 72 C10, all tucked, x pipe. It was more time consuming hiding the exhaust in the frame of that truck than doing a Camaro. I bet I was 25-28 hours into that one. Getting ready to do another Camaro with hard mounted tail pipes and flex joints. I bet that one is going to push 40 hours before I am finished.

I received a recent rough estimate of 30 hrs plus materials @70.00 per and that seemed a bit over the top (admit ideally this was a sight unseen rough swag)
For a full stainless mandrel X pipe I charge $2700 material and labor. V-band, custom mounts and flanges included. I usually do a custom cross member too.

buy the dynatech musclemaxx exhaust and call it a day. Stainless steal for about $600. You can do the work yourself if you have a saw and some wrenches. I love the fit.

I went with an all stainless pre-fab system. I started with the Hooker 3" system and then added custom stainless Spintech mufflers and Torca clamps. I also went with the custom Hooker headpipes that are a better fit with their headers. I probably have $1,300-$1,400 in parts to make it all work. The install was easy to do myself, but it still took time to get everything lined up to my satisfaction.
