T,
No worries. I've had this fitting banging around my tool box for 7 years, and if you were able to use it, then it would have found a home.

Arrow Alternate options

Any of you that have installed a Hydratech hydraulic brake assist system have seen the neat trick we use first hand, and that is the installation of one of our supplied seat inserts (HBS9106):

This will then allow you to run a tight clearance direct fit 90 degree male hose end such as this Aeroquip FBM1144:

16 X 1.5 is close enough to 5/18-18 to make it happen - no cross thread actually occurs.

Or? Go with a low profile banjo fitting:

The listing shows a set, though we get calls all the time for just the 16 X 1.5 banjo which we do sell individually at $25. I suppose I really should produce a separate web listing where a customer could buy the banjo's individually (though my current list of TO DO is so damn long already, so call Jim to order)...

I dug around in our database and a close up shot of the direct fit male 90 degree hose end installed into a LS / LSA pump did not jump out into my outstretched arms. I know we have some images somewhere...

Anybody got a pic of our system installed using the Aeroquip direct fit FBM1144 with the brass seat insert handy to show the guys? If so, post it up! Or? Maybe I'll remember where the images are and then I'll post up.
