Default Superbowl Shop

thanks Sean,

Had a bunch of people stopped by... one new car...
plenty of food.. most of us bench raced and we
did work on three cars
One car got new shocks, swaybars and ends
One car just trans fluid and brake fluid change
One car is still there. figured out the Msd box was
going bad.. it would start to miss above 3000 rpm
we got another msd but the new one is wider so
we need to make another plate for it.. and yes the
previous owner did not install the insulators so we
are sure that made it go bad

Great day. never saw a play all day of the game but
some were yelling away towards the end

Bob

Poor guys... I guess several brokers over sold tickets and weren't able to deliver to their customers. People traveled all the way to Glendale just to find out they didn't have tickets they had paid for.

Don't want to kill Bob's thread about "ME".... but we went to Scottsdale to be with friends... regardless of whether or not we had tickets. We used a broker that handled tickets for friends last years game -- and they got tickets thru him again this year. They paid $6K per seat. The broker advised us to wait for tickets to come down == which he said "they always do".... while waiting - they went straight up to DOUBLE -- and he called and offered $15K for the tickets he'd just sold our friends for 6K !! Needless to say - I was NOT paying anywhere near that price and needed 5 tickets.... F that!! We watched it with friends on TV and had a great time.... and I can tell you that my friends were decidedly unhappy when they came home after the game having paid huge money only to watch a disappointing ending -- and we kept saying "thank gawd we didn't buy tickets!!" LOL

Default super bowl

No issue posting or hijacking
It is good to hear or bad all the bs that
happens when money gets involved with tickets
I would not have paid the increase either
Sometimes watching it on TV in your easy chair
seems better to me

We are Sharks fans and the wife wants to go to
Levi Stadium for their outdoor game.. every time
I see the outdoor series in a football or baseball
stadium there is never a good seat.. watching hockey
a long ways away to me is not right.. but I have killer
seats and I am spoiled... I can also be home in 15 minutes
after a game in San Jose.. I will be lucky if I make it to
my car in that time at Levi stadium.. oh well

Default Superbowl shop

We still have the one sick Pantera at the shop
My buddy has been working on it for a week at night
It started popping above 3000 rpm last year so they put
a new carb on it and it was better but not fixed.
Changed the msd and it got better, changed most of the
wires and it is better.. I think he is going to do the last
two tonight.. everything was old and bad including the coil
but it only gets just a little better.. Like looking for a needle
in a haystack.. dizzy was checked, plugs on popping side checked,
valve covers off.. might be the last two wires??
