Default Can someone tell me about Schill

Sorry im new and not sure if this is were i post this.
Ok a year ago i bought a BBC 73 Nova. The motor is a pump gas 468 pushing about 600HP. When i bought it it had a 4150 double pumper race carb and the guy told me it had been customized and hogged to an 1100cfm. The carb looked like a holley and i didnt pay much attention to it since the ride would tell me what i needed. Well the motor was professionally built and the guy i bought it from was scared to death of it and it is not built to handle the power plant. So to say it is a violent nasty ride is an understatement and does not hook at all even at 60 miles an hour where my wife threatened to divorce me and burn the car to the ground when it went sideways all over the road. Well after a few weeks i started going through things making sure everything was put together correctly since the hi billy i bought it from almost peed himself at 30 mph. It needed some finish work we shall say. This is when i looked at the big sticker on the carb that says SCHILL Carbs. Looking down the barrels you could see were it had some serious hogging out done. Now that im gathering parts to pull the motor and bump it up a notch to 8-850 HP i tried to find out more about the carb. I can not find nothing but couple old adds that said it had a Mike Schill carb. DOES ANY ONE KNOW anything about this Mike Schill and whats his story. I have ran and built small blocks my whole life. This will be the first complete Big block build (accompanied by a professional) and this carb performs like a well built 1050 dominaitor. I mean i am seriously impressed with this carb and wonder how much power it can handle. I have not tore it down to see what all has been modified because if it aint broke dont fix it. Can someone please tell me about this mysterious carburetor and are all this impressive? thank you
