Default Aftermarket serpentine tensioner

I have a Pontiac engine, only Power steering and alternator.

And the serpentine kits usually do not have an Automatic tensioneer but just an fixed idler pulley.

Have any body had issues With this on any type of engine. When letting of throttle and at high RPM and such?

On one kit, or maybe the only type, the waterpump also has little belt area, and the waterpump is maybe not Pontiacs greatest idea. Look at Pic, I Wonder if this will slip on track use and high rpm so it will lose cooling capacity.

This is also maybe the only kit that not looks very bulky and big like many serpentine kits look like, in my opinion the V-belts look better some times

It does look like if you have an slip issue, you could try reroute around waterpump With longer belt.

CVF and March are the only ones who makes this I think?
