I just completely rebuilt my brother in laws blown pro street car.... and while it's a far superior car now than what we started with -- I still wouldn't want to drive it more than about 50 miles... Those huge Mickey Thompsons... skinny front tires... and minuscule fuel tank... well... just NO THANK YOU. Just for fairness I also wouldn't drive my '32 Ford Roadster more than that either. You just get beat up.

Here's the thing Rudy (my brother in law) and I always talk about at shows.... you always see a few '41 Willys at the shows -- but you NEVER see one on the road. Why is that? The big rear tires and stiff suspension - the small tires up front - the giant ill mannered big cam motors -- and poor cooling systems....
Pro Touring is about having all that power and more -- WITH comfort... WITH reliability... WITH street manors.... WITH stopping power.... WITH cornering....
So to me - the PT cars are all about the positives and not any of the negatives that come with Pro Street.
