First off I would like to thank all the sponsors for throwing this event, No Limit, TCI, Blank Ink Media, CFR, RideTech, and Black Widow. The staff at Adams motorsport park is also amazing and deserves a ton of praise for running a top notch track, keeping things flowing, and having timing available almost immediately. The tack was amazingly fun, and we all got a ton of seat time.

So now for the fun story of the shootout. Brett had shown up and Rob from No Limit was nice enough to give him the keys to the red C10 that is the truck equivalent of Brian Hobaughs CP camaro:

Brett had been piloting the truck around in a class of his own all day, about a half a second faster than the 2nd place of the very impressive mustang that Karl was piloting:

If Karl had flares and 335's he might have been right in there with Brett (inside joke). Well as the event progressed Karl was eliminated by Brett in the truck second round (tough climb). Another driver name Casey from the JCG corral had progressed very far in the shootout. Casey pilots a 92 Camaro with a TPI:

Well as luck would have it, 3rd gens have temperamental ignition modules. Casey's car wouldn't hot restart when he had to go up against the absolutely stunning Sunbeam:

Well the driver of the sunbeam was sportman enough to allow Casey to drive the JCG built 68 Camaro owned by Karl Dunn. Blu can be seen here hiding after a long day of off roading at the hands of Cris from JCG:

Casey went out and rocketed around the track and eliminated the Sunbeam to secure a spot in the finals against Brett in the No Limit C10. So we have two drivers, both in cars they don't own, both with the fastest times of the day. Casey and Brett went out and both had stellar runs, and both were VERY close in times. Casey barely edged out Brett and took the win in Blu. In case your having trouble keeping up

Casey (right) drove Karl's (left) car built by Cris from JCG (middle) for the win over:

Brett (right) driving the C10 owned and built by Rob (left) of No Limit.

The entire event was a ton of fun, we all got a TON of seat time. I completely destroyed my tires and had a blast doing so. Thanks everyone for throwing this event!
