Default 69 Chevelle RestoMod

It is time to start my Build thread. I am still waiting on my spot in the shop to start cutting. But the teardown is almost complete.

Here is the car almost 10 years ago when the motor died and was parked.
I am a second owner of this 69 SS 396 Chevelle. Car has right at 102k miles. 0 Rust, Was almost all numbers matching before i blew a piston out the side of the very modified 396. .60over hitting about 575Hp 482Tq with custom heads and large solid lifter cam. During its runs I ripped the shock mount off the rear axle and snapped my trans mount from the custom built TH400.
While a shop was pulling the motor and assessing the damage they rolled my car behind the shop under a tree and ruined the car. So i sealed it and put it in storage to be rebuild at a later time.

This is the concept that we are shooting for.

So far everything is being stripped and all the parts not being used are being sold to be put back in the car pot.

After a few months of manual scraping and sanding finding all the hidden cancer the car sits like this. (Look at those window tags!!)

And the interior. No rust. that is lighting issue and brown glued down insulation we will be sandblasting soon.
