Did you put camber in the wheels so it rides the edge?

Did you lift one of the four so that you are only running on 3?

Did you google the speed tricks for these?

lots of information on these cars and they can be fun.

We did camber the wheels and raised the right front to reduce friction!

We also beveled the backs of the wheels and added graphite (after tech inspection). Polished and reverse beveled the axle "heads".

Car weighed in at exactly 5.00oz! COG 3/4" in front of rear wheels.

My 7 year old is very "engineer minded" and loved the project!

Default 2 & 2

He came in 2nd overall (speed) and 2nd in design!!!

Out of 208 kids/cars that's not too shabby for our first attemp!

It really was a fun father/son project... we spent a lot of time looking at images on the internet to help him decide on a design and there are tons of videos on YouTube showing you how to do all the tricks!

Pretty sure the car that beat us was purchased on line from on of the vendors we saw... but we cut, shaped, sanded, weighed, painted and optimized his ourselves every weekend over a month... can't wait to do another one next year!!
