I currently have an M-21, M-22 and the T-10. I ran all of them on the street and strip at one time or the other over the past 40 years in different cars. I have rebuilt each of them and I can tell you that there is little significant difference between them. In fact, many parts are interchangeable. The T-10 was slick shifted by removing evey other slider dog and installing non-syncronized sliders and drag raced for 10 years with not so much as a missed shift. I could put any of the three in "Dust Off" but my shifter only fits the T-10.

I really cant Knock a T-10 because I've never run one, but I had a stock M-21 that I beat the hell out of for years. I'm talking keep your foot in it and slam second with the tires smokin' over and over and over again. Those were in my street thrashing days. I took that same tranny and road raced with it for another 3 years before I grenaded it downshifting into third at Infineon right after turn 1 to head up the hill. And that was probably because I went to long without changing the oil.

Gots ya. I ran nothing but Muncies in my Camaros (even had a M-22 RC). Use to side step the sh*t outa them and they held. We use to buy em all day long for $200-$250 too. HELL a 12 bolt posi was $100!! I had a S-T10 in my 79 Camaro with a 420 Hp Sbc and 4.11's and it was all good. For now I just want to go have fun and cruz............... Suspension first, later I'll get intense with the eng & drive train!!!
Thanks for your input

Accelerating is optional...........stopping is mandatory. Your car WILL stop one way or another.

It's funny you mention that...........I took the white Camaro all over the place today. She's a fun little cruzer and that pearl white paint gets alot of attention. It's been a long time since I have had a clean '69 just to cruz in.

Almost thinking about keeping her, lol
