was rated 650 or 750, cannot remember. Had the billet flywheel, anyway it was a little grabby, but I got use to it. Pulled the trans to check something else and my flywheel looked like one from a school bus with 250,000 miles on it. I know how to drive a stick and I am the only one that drives my car and it was blue and cracked. 4500 miles.
I got it around the same time that they, Textralia, was having problem with the distibutor in the US. May have been sent the wrong disc and I would not have known the difference. Anyway, went with more of a standard clutch and was going with the LS7 package but it was sold out at the time.
I am happy with the Monster so far...but I find about anything from GM is good stuff.
I vote for McLeod RST - strong & street friendly. Another more inexpensive choice might be RPS organic street twin disc clutch which is a great piece for the price.
You will be fine with the LS7 clutch and it will have oem reliability and feel. If you need a stronger clutch, I would go with the LSx9 clutch from Katech. Thats what I have and it has the much sought after "OEM feel".
Hi Paul, I've got the LS7 clutch in mine and it's worked great so far. Dyno'ed 500 to the wheels and I've got about 5000 miles on it now. Pedal feel is very good, of course "OEM"
