Default 69 Firebird Steering Issues…Please Help!

I just installing a front end rebuilt kit and other upgrades on my 69 Firebird, I still have 2 inches of play in my steering.

The rebuild kit including new upper and lower ball joints, new tie rod ends, new idler arm, new upper and lower control arm bushings, new bump stop. I also installed an Addco front sway bar, QA1 adjustable coilovers, and new center link. But I still have play in the steering, could it be the steering box?

Please help!

After installing all of those new parts, it probably is in the box.
Double check everything you did. Then have another person turn the steering wheel side to side within the "slop" range. Watch the steering shaft ,then the steering arm. My guess is your new components won't be moving much while the shaft rotates all over. That means the box is worn out internaly.
