Any issues with the Harmonic Balancer bolt coming loose??

Yes.... that would be great.

At first we used a stock bolt... That bolt was no where to be found. lol.Hopefully it didn't end up going through someones windshield. The second time... i found the "new ARP bolt" lodged inbetween the crossmember and the sway bar. That was after the 175 mph run. The balancer was forward 1/4 inch.
This past time.. the bolt was in.. but i could see the balancer moved 1 rib. I reached down to see if the bolt was tight... and i was able to "un snug" it with my fingers.

As of now... 50 miles on it.. it hasn't moved. But i've been driving "normal".
Got to get this fixed.

i have only seen one person say anything about installing a pin kit.

you really need to pin the crank on anything but a stock engine. like this

I belive that is it bud cured all my buddies problems just got an awnser fron my buddy he said you need to call A&Acorvettes.com i guess it is not on there website but if call them they will hook you up ask for Andy my buddy names is Dallas Weaver

ok... I just ordered the "pin kit" from AA corvette. I would try and do this in my garage... but would rather have a engine specialist do it. Is Best of Show the right people... or is there a savvy LS motor dude in the Carlsbad area?

just curious what engine are we talkin about. i run a chevy service dept.the other day we had a 05 vette balancer bolt lose.gm has a bullitin that came out back in 06 to replace the bolt,balancer and install friction washer.not sure if that applies here to this application. hope it may help. drew

I'm sure Best of Show could handle it, but since you're in Carlsbad, I'd just take it over to TurnKey in Oceanside. They'll be closer to you, and save for a few ecotech motors, they deal exclusively in building everything LS related. They're a good group of guys, and I'm sure they'd be happy to help you out.
