Lightbulb front spring perch relocation

has anyone when doing a minitubb on a 69 camaro ever thought about or moved the front of the leaf spring inboard the same distance as moving the rear inboard w/ the dse offspring shackles. reason is to create more tire clearnce.

I've never heard of it being done before. With DSE's kit you have enough room for a 335 tire.

There is really no reason to move the front spring mount. With DSE's minitub kit and the offset shackles the leaf springs are parallel. On a stock vehicle, the rear of the springs are set apart wider than the front. The offset shackles correct that.
