For a high hp twin turbo, does an equal length header add more hp than a log style manifold?

Yes, a small amount. What you gain in flow, you lose in heat loss. The closer the turbo is to the exhaust port the more hp you gain. Also stainless turbo headers will crack if used much. That's why endurance or road racing turbo cars use inconel exhaust header material. My LS2 TT has 25,000 miles on the manifolds with no cracks.
I dont know of any stainless turbo header with that many miles that havent had to have cracks welded up. For street cars that are meant to be driven we prefer the log style.
