Get shorter bolts. I don't want to insult your intelligence...well ok...you do have the gasket installed correct?

OK So my What to do now question was a little stupid on my behalf.
I guess I was wondering if I had a defective pan since they were too long but now that I see other people have had the same problem I see the problem is with whoever engineered the pan. ARGGG! You would think that Autokraft could at least tell you to buy shorter bolts(smarter yet include them with the pan) before you start putting the original ones back in.

You're in for a long haul John. Not trying to pick on you but if this gets you uptight it's going to be a long build. Take it in stride and find a solution.

Black oxide is hex bolt 134-6901 or black oxide 12 point is 134-6902.

Just cut about 3/16" off the stock ones and don't forget to drill and tap the block on the middle hole (I think) driver side
