Hey guys. I'm David, I live in Northern CA. I am a member of a local lt1/ls1 car club and was turned here from another member, Ned, who has a 69. I recently sold my 87 camaro that had a LT1/T56 and way to much other stuff to list. I just bought a roller 68 that I have huge plans for. I'm planning on spending some serious money and taking quite a few years to get it done, and done right. For now it's going to sit until my house is done in a couple months, then i'm going to start buy gutting it and having it media blasted then starting from there.
The plan is to have a clean body, retro interior (caged, racing seats, custom guages, etc), I'm planing to build a 408ci LSx motor out of a 6.0l iron block, backed with a t56. I'm really glad to get on here and pro-touring and seeing a lot of people going that route. There seems to me some compainies making a lot of parts for the swap. We'll see what happens.
