Don't even think of getting the smaller unit if there is a way to make the bigger unit fit. I have the smaller unit in a car and it isn't just a matter of it taking a couple minutes more to cool. It can't keep up ! You run it on high and it blows cold air but not enough air and it ends up 80 degrees and you listen to that fricken fan all day !!!! ARRGH !!!!!

Ya know the Gen IV conversion for your car is cheap and easy to do Charlie, and works with the smotth firewall. It is $750 for the inside care kit. That is all you have to change

Well worth it. We actually turn down Gen IVs!
