The car came in at 3300 lbs. Pretty beefy. I'm blaming the interior guy, lol.

And yes, it has a cage.

The GTM looks like a bunch of cool smaller fab jobs, followed by driving around in a mid-engined 5 speed track warrior that can be driven anywhere. At least, that's the plan.

God isn't that the truth. I am completely burnt out right now - 2 months from finishing the 3rd version of my supermustang, and yet I still daydream about how I could do this and do that easier, cheaper, better., event though I thought that's what I was doing this time !

3300 lbs is excellent - People throw around car weights a lot, but anything lightweight is almost always more race than street.

I'll be pleased as punch if I come in at 3300 lbs, and that's with honeycomb floors and firewall and a constant emphasis on weight, albeit TT adds 80 lbs.

Real steel and real glass adds up as do strong drivetrains.
