Default What kind of turbo setup could you do with a 1973 400ci Mopar motor?

brother has a dodge charger that has a 400ci mopar motor in it. He wants to do a turbo build for his pro touring charger. Any suggestions on a turbo he could put on there or setup to get him about 550-600hp? Thanks for any suggestions.

If power is the goal and not appearance......a 500" (+/-) stroker kit would get to 550-600hp pretty easy on pump gas. They are pretty cheap now that 440source came along.

but, in case he changes his mind, what do you think that stroker build would cost turn key having them build it?

They dont build them, retailer. There kits are about $1800, for the bottom end (pistons, rods, crank) and they put out "stealth" aluminum heads now for about $1000, unported. www.440source.com
