Here's what happens when you give an Italian design house a new Z06 and a lot of CF....... I like the C1 grille influence and would be pretty cool to leave it in just clear coat. What do you think?http://www.acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=367797

Neat car....I cannot believe after all of that work that the exhaust outlets aren't straight and level....

I like it from some angles, from others, it looks like a hot wheels.
It has way too many archs, IMHO.

I think CF is REALLY cool.
BTW: What's the latest word on CF parts (Hoods, deck lids etc.) for our cars???
What?
When?
How Much??

they take credit card. i think if they made the grille opening a little more narrow it would look better but besides that i dig it.

Between the war/Gov't demand for CF and the Aerospace (Boeing) demand for CF, raw material has quadroupled in the last few years. Add the fact that auto mfg's are using the material more and more, and demand is far exceding supply.
So to answer the 3rd question, more than you wanted to spend.
There's a CF mfg plant near where we are going to move to, and not only are they expanding the building, but they are hiring anybody and everybody that has experience with CF. It's a HUGE facility already, and their only buyer for CF material is Boeing.

I like it but over 3K pounds? That seems heavy for what it is, doesn't it?

I think that is a great looking car, very serious looking, yet stylish at the same time. Looks like a giant Elise meets Aston Martin.
I think 3K lbs is pretty good these days considering all the electronics and sophistication of the chassis....alot of parts in that car.
Regarding weights, my Lotus Esprit weighed 2750lbs with a modest 4 banger and a composite body with a very light frame. You can't realistically get much lighter than that and have a crash tested chassis that can handle any real power and still have things like headlights, airbags, power leather seats, hi fi stereo, a/c, etc. with a V8 and accompanying tranny and transaxle.
Hell, the new Elise is like what, 2200lbs and it's the size of a shopping cart with a 4 banger in it.

I think it looks like a mazda RX-7, with vette brakes

I think it looks great, i would love to see a C7 vette with a radical front end like that, the windshield back does look a little too much like a lotus but overall it is nice

Not really sure how I feel about it. I kind of like it, kind of don't. I guess it depends on whether or not there is a big improvement in performance over the Vette it is based off of. I would like to have all that CF though  .

i kinda like it...and kinda dont. arches are kinda too exaggerated, and the grille looks like it came off of a first gen t-bird...

I like it alot, I would much rather have that than a regular Z06.
