Jason, congrats on the ink in this month's PHR. The Maverick looks cool! Someone needs to build it. :unibrow:

damn, just sold a 70 with 8200 original miles, original paint, etc. which would have been perfect to do this with. :willy:

I've been so swamped I haven't had time to line up the next couple artists.. I think it's a pretty fun page in PHR.

Got my copy yesterday. Jason has the uncanny ability to make you want any car! Hell, I'd buy it and I'm a GM guy.

I still can't figure out how you got the carbon fiber chin spoiler to look so accurate with a marker and colored pencil. Congrats!

Thanks EVERYBODY!! I call it the "Street Fightin' Mav' " Stones fans will get it..... I really appreciate the attaboys from the Lat-g folks and I'm really digging the new page in PHR as an artist and someone who truly appreciates the arts. Let's face it, this is exactly how I got into this, seeing Taylor and Stanford in PHR and "the other magazine" changed my life!

Rupp, thanks for the opportunity! Now call on the rest of the Lat-g artists!

Theresa, Yes, I am less than 2 months out and Power Tour is my Bachelor Party, you're all invited!!

Ben, It is only because I don't know how to use a computer! And I'm a GM guy too, but you used one for your dream car so Steve asked me to look to the oval.

Jody, You should have waited to sell that thing as it looks mint and ripe for the treatment!

I'm not trying to turn this into an Academy Awards speech but I sooooooo appreciate the atmosphere and people at Lat-g and want to give the love back before I leave town for the weekend.

Now, somebody find one of these on craigslist and BUILD IT!!!!

I do like the Maverick's potential. Hey, I think another cool deal would be to make a PT car out of a nice Vega. I know they have the potential. People used to put V8's and tubs in them all the time.

We're on the same page! Check out this Vega I did for Super Chevy a couple years ago. The idea was what if Dan Gurney and Grumpy Jenkins met in 1971 and got together on a project.

If you mean a Vega, yeah I do remember seeing one. Somebody put a V8 with a Toronado transaxle in the back of one. Cool looking, but loud as hell inside the car....
