I am interested in getting a 12-bolt posi rear end to replace my existing 10-bolt non-posi unit. I had heard good things about Tom's Differentials in Paramount, but when I call their number, it appears that they are under new management and are now known as the Gear Shop. Has anyone delt with the new ownership/management?

I also would like to get some recommendations for other places to get a complete replacement rear end. I know of Moser Engineering and Currie Enterprises. Has anyone dealt with either of these companies and would you recommend them?

Thanks for the help

I have a related question. In talking to some of the rear end venders , most are recommending going with a Ford press-in type axle. I have already purchased a Baer Track kit for a GM rear end with C-Clip axels. What would I need to do to use my Baer Brake kit and be able to get the press-in type axles.

hmmm, if i'm not mistaken it might take new mounting brakets or you might need to swap the kit

leave it to the rest to give 100% info though, that's just what i would think
