I'm piecing together an efi system for my 489 bbc and I had already purchased a brand new MSD 1000cfm throttle body.

Well, I just picked up a brand new Accel efi oval intake and 1200cfm throttle body for less than the price of the intake alone. Score!

So any opinion on which one is better? The engine is a long way from running and I'd rather sell one to buy other parts, so testing them both
isn't going to happen.

This is going on a 67 camaro, 489, t-56, street only car...

Thanks,
Jason

What type? Four barrel for a standard style intake or two barrel for a Super Ram style intake?

Four barrel.

I've gotten good reviews on both now that I've asked around awhile, but I think I'm going to go with the Accel. The linkage seems a little stronger.

Thanks,
Jason

Being it is a stick I would suggest to look at the amount of throttle blade opening compared to throttle linkage movement. The softer it is the more driveable your combination will be. The farthest mounting point from the shaft with the smallest primaries will be best.
