What is the Max RPM is a LT1 computer good for?
Im looking into building a 302 LT1 for my project. But if the stock LT1 computer isnt good for aleast 8000 RPM im not going to build it.

Most figures I've heard for them are in the 7000 - 7200 max range
I'm guessing you must not be building a "street" engine if you're looking for 8,000rpm???

Like he said 7000-7200 RPM is as high as the computer can handle. Ed Wright has played the computer programming extensively in order to find a way around it with his low 10.00 NA Trans Am.
I my last project was going to be 500+ RWHP NA 392 LT1 with AFR 227s, single plane intake and huge solid roller but I have decided to part it out now, to focus on my 69 Camaro. To get around the limitations of the factory computer I bought a FAST ECM and wiring harness that piggybacks the factory PCM.
