Musclerodz.com (http://www.musclerodz.com) is now live. Since we have not had any giveaways lately, I am offering 2 each $25 gift certificates for the 2 closest guesses without going over. They will be non-expiring credits on your account to be used at any time, any product, open to all Lateral-g.net members. Good luck on the guesses.
In the next week or so, I will do another giveaway formally annoucing the grand opening of Musclerodz.com new website and online store. Scott can we make this a sticky?
EDIT: If 3 or more people guess the same amount and it is the winning amount, the first 2 to post their guess is the winner.
WINNER'S : 4musclemachines and Hitman are the winners. You each have a $25 credit with Musclerodz & Customz. You can email, pm me, or call and give me your info. Thanks for playing.

The cars dont seem to be pulling what they usally do at BJ, I think that the pro tourning for the most part is pulling nice money like that non numbers matching 69 Camaro with the 502 Ram Jet engine that was originally a 6 cylinder pulled $180,000 so that is good for all of us that are into the pro-touring cars. I am shocked at what the Cuda went for I thought it would pull a lot more then that.
I would have bought the Von Dutch bus for what it went for, I think it pulled $40K and that is a steel for that the inside is very cool.

No, that was amazing, never thought it would get that high ( record breaking)! I was just refering to the other cars in the auction going for less than expected. I thought johnsons cuda would have been a huge sale due to its history and also being on the cover of the BJ magazine. Oh well, at least johnson knows he built one of the baddest cars ever!

5 Mil was a lot for that car, but it is one of one. I thought some cars were over priced and some under priced. It was a weird auction to me, maybe because that was my first one, but it seems that the prices where all over the board.

YEa they certainly were!! I guess there were just alot of cars I saw that you would've thought would get alot more ( people were getting them for less than half of what it would cost to build.) = lots of deals$

The prices at Barrett are always all over the place like they did this year. The only good thing for us here on these sites is that the Pro-Touring cars did very well for the most part like that 1969 Camaro with the 502 Ram Jet that was originally a 6cyl car. It pulled $180,000 and that is awesome news for us that build the cars it just proves that we are building cars that will hold there value better.
The Cuda was a surprise I figured it would do over a mill easy but I guess there were not two people going at it. I was right there when it went and the hype just wasnt there for it.:( Seeing that car from a few feet was awesome the work was just sick and it was sad to see it go for that. BJ is killer for some cars and a huge dissapointment for others you just never know.
5 Mill for a car that will just sit seems crazy to me no matter how much money you have, you could never dirve that car and enjoy it. As the guy that bought the Cuda he will never really enjoy that car as well it will just sit and that is not what that car was built for. I have built cars that have no miles and some that are daily drivers and let me tell you the ones you drive are the fun ones. I hate building cars that people wont drive and just want to trailer everywhere.
It will be interesting to follow BJ next year and see what the trends bring, its the same thing every year guys with to much money and not enough knowledge to what they are buying. Some people got killer deals on cars and hopefully they will enjoy them.
