got the Malitude stripped and unfortunately the car was not stripped previously by Art in Motion like they said they did. The old red paint job was underneath from when Charley had the car.
The car is pretty straight, no rust. But some of the metal repairs done previously are going to require a good bondo guy. I want to paint the car myself, and I can do body work, but I'd rather farm this out.
I'm looking for someone who has the time to get it knocked out fast as it's going on Power Tour. It also has a magazine shoot or two planned ;) so this person will get some print from that. I'm just looking for someone to get it ready for paint, but not paint it.
Any ideas? I know, bodywork is a toughie, finding a good person and getting it out in a timely manner is almost impossible. Just taking a shot here.

actually I could send it down there too. But would they do it if they aren't painting it? Contact info?
Thanks Steve, much appreciated.

Steve's right, there's something to be said about some of the talent here in SoCal. But for every paint shop that's awesome, there's 100 that totally suck.

There is a guy named Randy Peterson who does alot of vintage race cars. use to restore cars but now also runs a few race cars. He is about 3 miles from the track, if you want I can get his number for you.

anygood, real good body man is gonna want to paint it, and if he is good, he probaly has enough work.so he will not want to do just filler work and let it go.
goodluck, let us know how you make out.

Jake,
I actually have several good options, though most are 300-400 miles away. Seems to be a break in most of their schedules, maybe due to the time of the year or the holidays. Kind of surprised myself, but appreciate all the feedback from you guys.
