To All:
I have read many good articles about World Products Crate Engines, however, on and off I have heard a number of people not think very much of their products.
What's the Poop??
Thanks,

We are a dealer for World / Bill Mitchell and sell their complete engines and we use their block / heads for in house builds. Every engine we have sold / installed did exactly what it was supposed to do. Only problem we had was one carb with some low speed issues, and they straighten it out quickly.

We have 7200 miles on our 427" iron block SBC that's in the GT55. It's killer. There was a little smoke when the rings were seating, but there hasn't been a hickup with it.
We also have a 427" aluminum block SBC thats going into our 3G Vette project. With FAST/Wilson Manifolds setup it made 538hp and 517ft lbs with our headers and exhaust system. AND!!! the engine only weighs in at 355lbs.
Very happy with them and would definitely recommend their products.

Thanks for the feedback.
It is what I would expect given they offer a two year warrenty. Plus I have read the power ratings are fairly conservative.
Thanks again,

Yup, Price goes up in one week. I just ordered a all aluminum 540 this morning. If you are thinking about doing a motor, you should call me this week.

Frank,
Is the 540 going to be using the Merlin Lite or the Merlin-X? I have been waiting for them to produce the Merlin-X for a while, but haven't spoken to them in a month or so. Is the X available yet? If so, can you please PM me with your pricing on a 540 short block using the Merlin-X? I have their pricing. Thanks.

It will be with a Merlin X block, probably one of the first they build when they get them in.
